Most of you know by now that I'm not afraid of pattern & colour. In fact, I thrive on it, and I love it when people clash their patterns. Just like these glorious examples of floral on floral.
I wish I was brave enough to wear clashing patterns! I've got those H&M trousers in the last pic but I have never thought of pairing them with something floral...hmmm might just have to try it!
All these florals have me dreaming of summer! Especially the first image. I don't really have any floral patterns around my house BUT I do have a whole lot of real flowers. I have a huge collection of old vintage vases and bottles and make sure they are always scattered around the house and filled with beautiful colour. That way no matter how grey and depressing it gets outside, it's always going to be cheerful inside!
Hi Vic, we are currently renovating our kitchen and I would like to paint it a dark teal. That pic is the inspiration. Any Dulux or Resene colour suggestions? Vicky.
Hi Vicky. We haven't used a teal colour quite like that, but here are a couple you could try from Resene (make sure you get test pots and you can also order A4 swatch cards) - try Resene Java and Resene Hullabaloo. Good luck x
I'm loving Floral on Floral too! These images are fantastic!!

ReplyDeleteLove the flower power! Great pics!
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't have thought to do this, but it works so well in every image you've chosen.
ReplyDeleteI think you could guess I'm with you on this Vic! Floral on floral on floral I say. I especially love that first picture :)

ReplyDeleteI'm curious.. where can I find the beautiful painting from the second image? Who's the creator?
ReplyDeleteIt looks like it could be by ixxidesign.com - check them out, they're amazing x
