A Warm Welcome

Phew, it's been one busy day packaging up gorgeous Cush & Nooks products ready to send off to some lovely customers. And I'm off soon to my very first Pecha Kucha evening - very excited! Pecha Kucha draws it's name from the Japanese term 'chit chat', and originated in Tokyo in 2003, when an event was held for young designers to meet, network, and show their work in public. It works on a simple presentation format - 20 images x 20 seconds.
It has now turned into a massive celebration with events happening in hundreds of cities around the world, inspiring creatives worldwide. Tonight's evening in Clive, Hawke's Bay boasts some fabulous names in the art world, I can't wait!

I'll leave you with a very cool concept store in Hong Kong called Konzepp. Filled with fun little gadgets and trinkets, you couldn't help but be drawn in by the golden yellow glow of the building itself. So cool, read more about it here.
