Restaurant Three Ways

I love to eat out, and for me there are three very important elements to a great dining experience - the food, the service, and the atmosphere. The decor has a huge part to play when it comes to the atmosphere. I have chosen three restaurant to show you - all quite different, but all very cool.

Chooks is a restaurant in North London specialising in grilled chicken, subs and salad. The atmosphere is relaxed and informal with a retro Americana vibe. I love the stripped back raw look of the exposed brick, timber and neon sign.

Habibis is an Arabic-Mexican fusion taco restaurant in Mexico. Originating as a humble taco stand, the owners wanted to keep the street-friendly, casual atmosphere while also reflecting the exceptional quality of the food. The result is clean and funky, while the amazing branding also incorporates it's Arabic-Mexican background in a contemporary way.

Café Artcurial is well loved in Paris, and it's easy to see why. The dark wood, fabrics, and leather panels are striking against the geometric wallpaper, glass pendants and marble table tops. It oozes sophistication, and you can just imagine at night, when it's dimly lit, how incredible the atmosphere would be.

Another way I determine if a cafe or restaurant is fabulous, is the loo! A bathroom is obviously a necessity in a place where you're dining, and if they've gone to the trouble of making it as cool as the rest, than that's a sure sign that the place has style!
