I have a real passion for furniture, and especially unique pieces. I am in awe of the work of Paula Coulthard and Sue Haldane, who create Union Furniture - each piece is truely an individual. Their designs are constructed from the bones of old public service and club furniture, and they tell a story of New Zealand, of the people, of the workplace, and of the land and sea. Crafted from solid, sustainable timber, upholstered with luxurious and hardwearing textiles, and embroidered by hand, you are a lucky person to own one.
