Spanish Beauty

Southern Spain... oooh yes, that's definitely on my list of 'places I've never been, but really want to'. This home is in the National Park of Los Alcornoqueros ('google' that, what a beautiful place!). And speaking of beautiful, this home is just gorgeous. With lots of natural materials like concrete, stone, and wood, the solid chunkiness is balanced by lots of soft and colourful textiles - scarves, throws, towels and cushions. Modern art and antique furniture, a concrete basin and soft purple towels... lots of delicious juxtapositions, and lashings of style!

  4. I think I need a minute alone just to ogle at this house! Definitely one of my favourites of the year (also just did a quick google search on the national park and I think you found me another travel destination)!

  6. After contemplating whether or not to do polished concrete, I am now committed after seeing these beautiful pics. Husband will be happy I have finally made a decision.

  7. Definitely on my list of places to visit, and I'd like to stay in a house like this! What a gorgeous home. I can just picture myself on the bed, reading a mag with the sun streaming in! That bathroom is amazing - love the concrete x

  8. Oh I LOVE Southern Spain (I think I've been there 3 or 4 times so far) so this is definitely my kind of house. I'm not usually a fan of rock and concrete, but in this case and in this setting it is perfect. These images sure have me dreaming of summer.
