I may have just found the coolest design studio ever! Søren Rose Studio is based in Copenhagen with a branch in New York, and as well as creating incredible interiors, they design and make the coolest (I can't think of a better word!) furniture and lighting - so cool!
The Park Avenue Dining Table comes in oak, walnut, black stain, and marble. Combine it with the Dragon Chair and Park Avenue Chandelier for a very special dining experience.
The marble top version has my name all over it - I am crazy about this table!
A taller slimmer version of the Park Avenue, the Edgar Bar Table and Stools are super classy.
Now here's a chair to sink into and take a break from the world. The high back and curved sides of the Gramercy High Chair give you comfort and privacy. The Cooper Coffee Table and Drump Lamp complete the picture. That lamp has such attitude!
Reflect for Muuto is a gorgeous sideboard. The four corners of it's drawers have varying thicknesses, and the curved fronts allow incoming light to reflect in interesting ways.
The Milk Table was the first piece designed by Søren Rose Studio, and it received overwhelming acclaim from both clients and press. The Milk Classic was designed as a customisable workspace, it has four compartments, cable outlets, and notebook storage.
Even a fishbowl accessory - what did I say?!... so very cool!
There is so much more you have to see, so head over to the website. But before you do, check out this incredible outdoor furniture. The Aspen Collection for Restoration Hardware consists of an outdoor chair, chaise lounge, bench and coffee table. It's so beautiful, I'm a little bit awe struck! I wonder if they'd ship to New Zealand?

Wow! The Gramercy High Chair looks so cosy and welcoming - love it, Vic! x
ReplyDeleteI can just imagine curling up in one with a good book and a glass of wine, Will :) x
DeleteNo - you had it right first time, Vic - COOL!!! Love the outdoor furniture. And suspect maybe quite a lot expensive to ship to NZ!!!
ReplyDeleteCrazy expensive, I have no doubt, Rachel. I'll have to love it from afar x
DeleteSo much to love but I'm especially taken with the marble table and the stools. That Muuto sideboard is one of my all-time faves. Great discovery Vic x
ReplyDeleteI think "cool" is totally the right word for this furniture! The Gramercy High Chair would look right at home in front of a roaring fireplace (love it). And don't even get me started on the Restoration Hardware outdoor furniture - I had to pick my jaw up off the ground.
ReplyDeleteBibby, by the looks of it seems like that company sure has some talent when it comes to designing furniture. It actually has given me several ideas about maybe including some furniture for my home improvement plan. My whole house would actually need to get a new makeover in order for me to sell it.
