This is great inspiration for me, particularly because our kitchen is still on our 'to do' list.

Doherty Lynch
The bold use of colour blocking in this kitchen caught my eye recently on my daily travels around the internet. The once dark and dated kitchen has been transformed by the clever girls at Doherty Lynch. Bright yellow cabinetry teamed with inky blue cupboards, clean white bench tops, and gorgeous blonde wood creates a streamlined, contemporary look. The round handles are a delightful touch - so simple, and an effective relief for the eye from all the straight lines.
Mardi Doherty and Fiona Lynch are the directors of Melbourne based, Doherty Lynch. Having worked on architecture and interior design projects throughout Australia, the pair are renowned for their purity of materials and bespoke detailing. They have a beautiful, sleek and sophisticated design aesthetic that's hard not to love.
This is great inspiration for me, particularly because our kitchen is still on our 'to do' list.
