Family Haven

I discovered a fabulous blog last week all about Emily and her beautiful young family.
The Beetle Shack is a fun and honest look into Emily's home and life. She shares stories of motherhood, recipes and glimpses into her home. It's a home full of colour and life, with a relaxed and welcoming vibe. The bedrooms are delicious, see what I mean...

Beautiful layers of colour and pattern, I bet there are a lot of fun times had in this home. Make sure you visit The Beetle Shack yourself to see lots more.

    1. My favourite kind of decorating, Kate - eclectic and homely, just enough 'stuff' without being too busy x

  4. What a delightful home, I must pop over and look at her blog. I am seeing pops of yellow everywhere at the moment. In fact I am using it in my office makeover after seeing lots of accessories and lamps at Freedom the other day.

  5. Happy New Year, Vic. You once again become part of my routine, now I am back at my office after 4 weeks of holiday!! Have enjoyed looking over the January posts, but this one really drew me in. Gorgeous use of colour, fun, quirkiness and just plain old individual style. Love it. Almost (but not really) makes me wish I had children young enough to decorate their rooms for. At 13 and 14 they are far too involved (as they should be!!). Will look up the Beetle Shack website to get fresh inspiration. Rachel x

    1. Happy New Year Rachel, lovely to hear from you :) Kids rooms are the best for decorating - so much fun. But teenagers rooms are great too, if they'll let you help! x
