Mid Century Style
This home in Palm Springs is an inspiration to me. The clean, neutral backdrop balances the decadence of the mid century styling. And the splashes of blue and green look beautiful with the warm wood tones.

I stayed in Palm Desert which is just through Palm Springs a couple of years ago, I absolutely loved it there are lots of Mid Century style homes, seriously if your visiting California its only 3 hours drive and full of design shops, galleries and boutiques and a huge designer seconds place. Palm Desert you could sit and people watch all day.
ReplyDeleteSounds amazing Lee, I hope I can visit one day x
DeleteI have to admit that I am not the biggest fan of mid-century style but I really like this. The clean and crisp lines, the mix of colours – just the right balance for me!
ReplyDeleteI know what you're saying Meghan. There are some Mid Century pieces I adore, and some I'm not so crazy about. But I think this place is just gorgeous x
DeleteAfter seeing this home and reading Lee's comment, I want to go to Palm Springs!! I love mid-century design - what I would do for some wishbone chairs! I also love the last image - simple yet stunning x
ReplyDeleteMe too Michelle. Love those green legs, and I also love the swimming pool photo x
DeleteGorgeous! The lighting fixtures alone have me swooning.
ReplyDeleteThey're like works of art Santa. The freestanding lamp with three levels is incredible! x
