Alaina Kaczmarski is the co-founder and editor of The Everygirl, a fabulous lifestyle website that I've mentioned before. Alaina's home, that she shares with a flatmate and her two pups, is every bit as gorgeous as you'd imagine. She has used her favourite colours on the walls - soft grey in the living areas, blush pink in the kitchen and dining rooms, and black in her bedroom, with lots of beautiful accessories throughout.
You may think black is a strange choice for a bedroom, but I agree with Alaina, it's helped to create a luxurious and cosy space. The light bedding and feminine touches soften, as well as compliment the black.

I really LOVE Alaina's home - so soft, light and pretty!
ReplyDeleteIt seems to capture her personality beautifully, Jane. x
DeleteI agree with Jane, so pretty. I love the white and grey, and you're right the black bedroom - it was a bold move but it works! x
ReplyDeleteIt was really brave of her, and has definitely paid off - I love it. x
DeleteI loved this one too Vic, especially all that pink in her bedroom :)
ReplyDeleteAbbey x
Yep, pink & grey are so yummy together, Abbey :) x
DeleteIf I wasn’t married to a South African rugby fanatic, my house would look JUST like this. There is nothing I don’t love about it.
ReplyDeleteMy husband is surf mad, but you there are some really cool surfy elements I've found to introduce into our home, to balance out my feminine 'stuff' :) x
Deletewow, this place is amazing. Love those wishbone chairs
ReplyDeletetrisha x
Me too Trisha, and the Bentwood chairs are awesome too - great classics. x

ReplyDeleteYou are so welcome Alaina, thanks for stopping by. You've done an amazing job with your home. x
DeleteI love the old china cups and saucers with her beads and baubles in. I have a collection of my mums. Actually its funny as I had some friends around for morning tea last week, I got all the lovely china out and silver of mums and then when I asked them if they wanted their tea in cups they said, "no, mugs will be fine".
