Doodle eggs - blow out the yolk and doodle to your hearts content with a black sharpie |
These ones have a coat of acrylic paint and then doodles drawn on with a white out pen |
A biro pen is used for these feathers, and simple lettering again with a sharpie |

Sir Hopsalot (my fav bunny) - his soft body is built on a flexible wire that allows you to position him |
The bunny is amazing!
ReplyDeleteI was keen to paint some eggs with blackboard paint until I discovered I can't drain them for the life of me! Maybe I should paint whole eggs.. Happy Easter! :)
I thought I was busy......
ReplyDeleteYou are setting the bar pretty high getting these done! ;o)
Happy Easter!!!

What beautiful pics Vic. Even I - Ms NOT Nigella - am tempted to test my patience and try that with the girls tomorrow. My 9 year old has a very special bunny but Sir Hopsalot gives "her" a serious run for her money. Have a lovely Easter Vic. Hope you're keeping dry in the Bay - we've been warned of a weather bomb for days but it's been balmy and lovely. Annie x
ReplyDeletelove this idea with the eggs...
ReplyDeleteWhat a great Easter post, love those "sharpie" eggs. I'm a definite doodler so will have to try these out next year. Hope you don't mind me linking up to your blog post tomorrow to share this inspiration.
