Ensuite Idea
I would love an ensuite in our room, and if we are in the same house in a few years when our three girls become teenagers, it will be essential to have our own bathroom. I've thought about how we would make it work in our bedroom, and have always liked the idea of having a wall behind our bed that acts like a headboard, but behind it is the ensuite. This Barcelona bathroom does just that. Interesting how they've left a glass panel, so you can see whoever is in the shower! Not sure if I would do that ;D

Great idea, but yeah, I'd be leaving out the glass panel to the shower too!
ReplyDeleteI've stayed in hotels with this design, and it seems to work really well. It give the whole bedroom a luxury spa feel!
ReplyDeleteI saw this being done a lot when we lived in London, where space tends to be a bit more limited and I think it's a great idea. Amazing how little floor space you need to fit a good ensuite in this way. It's the open loo thing that I really cringe about!! Annie x.

That’s really clever! It’s got a bit of a luxury hotel feel to it (like Brooke said). Although I must admit that I like a lot more privacy in the bathroom (but I totally understand lack of space)!
