Karine's London Home

I've mentioned before how much I love entranceways, they are your first impression of the home you're about to enter. I posted this photo (below) on my Facebook page this morning, because... to put it bluntly... it's freaking amazing! The numbers caught my eye first, as I'm a fan of numbers & typography. But when you keep looking there are so many beautiful elements, in what is really quite a simple, uncluttered space.

It is the London home of Karine - half of the incredible Bodie and Fou sisters - and her Kiwi husband, Steve, and their daughter, Mila. Bodie and Fou is one of my favourite blogs and online stores, so it's no surprise that this home appeals to me so much. One of my FB 'friends' was curious to see what the rest of the house looked like, so here it is. It seems to be an ever-changing home, so some of these photos may have dated, but it shows the fabulous style that we expected after seeing their entrance.

  1. Such a beautiful home, thanks for sharing it! :) xo K

  2. Chic and sophisticated...adore all of the black and white!

  3. Aaah I want to live here! It's the original features that really do it for me (and those beautiful stairs in the entry)!

  4. What a wonderful home Vic! Love all the great contemporary art work and the splash of neon pink on the light :)

  5. That is a great entrance. And the small use of colour in the later images makes such a difference- it really transforms a black and white themed space.

It's lovely to hear from you. Thanks for your comment. Best wishes, Vic xxx
