Have you had a chance to check out the latest Rue magazine? I was really inspired by their latest issue. There's a great article on the Venice Beach offices of B-REEL. Kate Driver of West Haddon Hall designed an amazing space and I loved how they included three different lounging areas, each one with a different vibe. They're great for staff to take a break from their desk, or to hold informal meetings with clients.
Interior designer, Soledad Alzaga, worked on what I would call a "dream job" recently. A client needed an apartment turned around within a month, and because he's worked with Soledad before and trusted her, he stepped back and gave her full control of the design - amazing! The result is a very cool and stylish bachelor pad which the client loves.
The home of interior designer, Cristin Priest, is much more feminine, and equally as gorgeous. Kelly green cushions and flamingo wallpaper will get me every time!
Finally, a house in Toronto was transformed into a modern, eclectic and welcoming home with the help of Stacey Cohen. It's a "must see" so make sure you check it out in it's entirety, as well as all the other fantastic content.

Adore Magazine | Feb/March 2015
I've just been reading the latest issue of Adore magazine, which is an ode to the end of summer, full of lots gorgeous outdoor inspiration and coastal homes.
I was thrilled to see the home of my friend Lisa Quinn-Schofield featured, who I blogged about back here. If you read my old post you'll see that Lisa and I bonded over our shared passion for interior design, and I have loved watching her grow her brand, Featherhorse, over the years.
Such a beautiful, restful home. Make sure you put some time aside to read the article on Lisa and much more in the latest issue of Adore.

A Home with History
I've just been flicking through the latest Rue Magazine, and came across this home, which I love. It belongs to mother-of-two, and owner of fashion label 'We Are Kindred', Lizzie Renkert. You can tell from the entrance that it's going to be a fabulous home, and what I love about it is it's sense of history. Lizzie has mixed new pieces with items that once belonged to her parents and grandparents, and much-loved furniture bought on her travels (my favourite is the antique dresser in the bathroom).
Adding pieces into your house that have a sense of history helps to create a soulful and interesting home, especially if they have meaning to you. Make sure you mix old and new wherever possible. To see and read more about this beautiful home, and lots of other fabulous inspiration, check out this issue of Rue.

Adore Home Magazine | The Spring Edition
I'm sorry about the late blog post today. I'm still on major catch-up mode after a week in Aussie last week, and school holidays just aren't helping! It was a slight shock to arrive back from temperatures of 27°C to a more chilly 16°C last weekend, but today is a beautiful Spring day in Hawke's Bay, and with daylight savings giving us longer days, it makes me excited about what's to come.
I put some time aside this morning to read the latest Spring edition of Adore magazine, and that certainly helped improve my mood. The photos I've chosen from this issue epitomise my idea of Spring and Summer living - gorgeous colour and pattern, lots of global influences, and entertaining, including a fantastic spread on places to visit in Bali.
If you love Adore magazine as much as I do, you should pop over to their Pozible page and pledge to help Loni produce an annual printed copy of the magazine. It will feature favourite homes from all of the 2014 online magazines plus a few new homes photographed specially for the annual edition. As well it will showcase the latest in homewares, product trends and store/designer profiles. I've just pledged my support by pre-ordering one copy, and it only cost $24, including shipping. Your credit card doesn't get charged until they reach their target, and with only a few days to go, Loni needs your support.
