I love this beautiful artwork by Kirra Jamison, who was recently named one of Australia's 50 most collectable artists. She paints large canvases too, but it's this finely detailed gouache work on paper that speaks to me. It takes me back to my design school days when I did a lot of work with gouache - fabulous because it drys quickly to a rich vivid opaque colour - yum.
