My post yesterday was to tell you about some of my favourite online magazines and their latest issues. Top of the pile for me is always Adore magazine, and their feature on ten budget decorating ideas was truly inspirational. My pick of the tips was Kristin Jackson's set of four hand-painted spotty curtains which she created for just $85 - amazing huh?!
Upon further investigation I discovered Kristin's blog The Hunted Interior and was instantly hooked. Kristin is so clever with her interior design skills and her DIY skills. She has a great line on her website that reads "Kristin believes in the design philosophy that you should hunt your surroundings to build a layered space that is true to you". Isn't that a great motto, and I whole-heartedly agree with her. And to prove her point, let's take a tour of her beautiful home.
The details, and the colour, and the life in this home - they're just delicious. And I didn't even show you all the photos. To see more and to follow Kristin's blog, head over here.

Magazine Update
February already, the year is off with a sprint. With the start of the new month comes a whole raft of new online magazine issues. It's a brilliant time to get inspired.
My favourite Adore had a fantastic budget edition just out, with lots of amazing ways to decorate your home on a shoestring budget. I love the spotty drapes created by hand-painting the spots onto some inexpensive ready-made curtains.
And the overlays that you can buy to zhush up Ikea furniture are genius!
Make sure you check out the article on one of my favourite artists, Belinda Marshall. And if you love her work you can purchase it in my shop.
The cover of the new Est magazine captured my heart! The gorgeous green sofa with one hit of kaleidoscope colour is just divine. With cushions set upon pull out drawers, this makes a perfect kid's living room sofa.
I was blown away by the artwork of Heather Chontos, who suddenly became blind at 14 years old, until her sight was slowly restored months later. That drastically changed the way she saw light and colour, and her artwork is simply beautiful. Everything can be a canvas for Heather, even her white Eames chair, which I love.
And this issue of Lonny is actually their December/January issue, but it's so full of gorgeous inspiration I wanted you to check it out before the new issue arrives. These two images below are my favourite, but there's so much more to see.
If you love these looks, you can recreate them with beautiful key tassels and kantha quilts from my shop.
Happy reading!

Armadillo&Co's New Collections
Most of you will know that I'm a huge advocate of Armadillo&Co rugs. I love to use them in my Bibby + Brady designs - the range of patterns and colours, and the fact that you can have many of them custom-made to a specific size is brilliant. And I can't say enough how much I recommend spending a bit more money on a quality rug that will stand the test of time... Armadillo&Co rugs will!
I'm so, fit-to-bursting, excited about their new 2014 collections, they are my favourite designs so far, and I want them all in my home. I'll run through them quickly now, and if you want any more information, or would like to order one of these beautiful rugs, please send me an email.
The Lattitude Collection embraces intrepid world travel, and in a burst of dazzling pattern and colour, gives us a modern twist on an ancient style. 'Kilim Weave' is available in three dynamic designs - Caravan, Nomad and Pilgrim. The rugs are stocked in selected sizes - 1.7m x 2.4m, 2m x 3m, 2.5m x 3.5m, with custom size available upon request.
The recently launched Armadillo&Co Junior Collection was so well received that founders, Jodie and Sally, have taken it one step further. Flower Weave's delightful 'Daisy' and 'Dandelion' designs have been reintroduced with the addition of coloured wool to contrast with the natural hemp. The gorgeous pure New Zealand wool is braided and coiled like the hemp to give cohesion in the combination of materials. They are absolutely delightful, there is no doubt in my mind that the kids will love them.
Daisy comes in three colourways and two sizes - Multi-Colour and Cerise Multi-Colour are available in 0.98m and 1.55m diameter. Fog Multi-Colour only comes in the 0.98m size.
The original Daisy all natural colourway is now also available in the larger size of 1.55m.
The gorgeous Dandelion Multi-Colour is available in 1.55m diameter size - love it!
Are you as excited as me?! I hope so. These rugs are a real investment, and the quickest way to add some fabulous 'WOW' to your home. I'd be more than happy to help you with your order, so don't hesitate to get in touch if you'd like to purchase one of these beauties.
