Indian Inspiration

It's no secret that I love India with it's vibrant colours and intricate patterns and design. The Indian influence is obvious in this beautiful bedroom with it's bone inlay bedside table and Indian quilt.

I was very excited to receive a shipment of Indian Kantha quilts this week. They are a lightweight cotton quilt, bedspread or throw in a range of gorgeous colours and designs. Each one is handmade by piecing vintage sari's together and then stitching all over by hand with a delicate running stitch called a Kantha stitch.

The Little Tikes

I'm always looking for inspiration for children's rooms, being that I'm a Mum to three girls - Jessie is 9 years old, and Mia & Luca are 7 years old. Jessie is needing a slightly more grown up room now, which we are working on, but these are some of my favourite 'little kid' rooms at the moment.
